About Muhammad Anas

Engineering leadership across delivery, architecture, and people

I’m Muhammad Anas, an Engineering Manager based in Karachi, Pakistan, working remotely with teams across US, UK and EU time zones. Over the last decade I’ve grown from a hands-on engineer into a leader who owns the full delivery lifecycle, from sprint planning and backlog prioritization to architectural direction and production reliability.

Today I lead multiple Agile teams at Flipdish, a restaurant ordering and management SaaS platform. I report directly to C-level leadership and keep engineering execution lined up with business priorities. I care a lot about observability, incident management, and building systems that stay reliable as they scale.

My toolkit spans Node.js, TypeScript, React and React Native, serverless and microservices on AWS, and modern CI/CD. The part I spend most of my energy on, though, is creating the conditions where teams ship confidently and grow.

How I use AI in engineering delivery

I build AI into how my teams work and ship. At Flipdish that meant AI-assisted customer onboarding that significantly cut manual effort. Day to day it means LLM tools embedded across the engineering workflow, from prototyping to code review.

AI-assisted delivery

Led AI-assisted customer onboarding and menu-creation workflows at Flipdish. Onboarding became significantly more efficient and early-stage client churn came down.

Lugmety: Food Recommendation AI

Shipped Lugmety’s food recommendation engine. It surfaces personalized dish and menu suggestions from order history and taste signals to grow basket size and repeat orders.

Salasa: Delivery Estimation AI

Built Salasa’s delivery-time estimation model. It predicts accurate ETAs from routes, load, and historical patterns, which tightens fulfillment planning and earns customer trust.

AI-augmented engineering

My teams use GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT across the SDLC, mainly to prototype faster and to get more out of code review and bug fixing.
